Annual Holiday Parade & Celebration Scheduled For Dec. 3

FOREST PARK, Ga. — Nov. 14, 2022 — Residents, families and visitors looking to get into the holiday spirit are all invited to attend the City of Forest Park's annual Holiday Parade & Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The one-day event will feature the city's popular downtown parade off Main Street and the official lighting of the Christmas tree at Starr Park. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause, as well as hot chocolate, will be available at the celebration. There is NO COST to attend.

When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Parade begins at 6 p.m. at the old Bank of America drive-thru lot and concludes at the Starr Park Amphitheater.

The following road closures are to be expected in advance of the festivities:

• Intersection of Main Street and Phillips Drive
• Intersection of Main Street and Ash Street (Main Street Fountain)
• Intersection of Lake Drive and Forest Parkway
