Welcome to the City of Forest Park's Planning & Community Development Department. Our mission is to provide citizens with high quality development and a safe and healthy environment by enforcing development regulations found in the City’s Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan guided by the principles of sustainable development and equitable growth.
Overview
The goal of the department is to assist in the positive development and redevelopment of the City with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Forest Park residents. There are two divisions within the department: Building Permits and Inspections, and Planning and Zoning.
