City Accepting Bids For Starr Park — Phase I Project

FOREST PARK, Ga. — Feb. 27, 2023 — The City of Forest Park is currently accepting bids from prospective contractors for the Starr Park — Phase I Project. The work consists of furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and related services required to complete a renovation of Starr Park, located at 5031 Park Ave.

The project scope includes, but is not limited to, a refurbished city park, new walking track, walkways, playground, dog park, sports field and splash pad. Approved plans also feature the construction of three new buildings, three new park pavilions and 347 additional square feet to an existing pool equipment room.

Each interested bidder must submit one original and three copies of their bid for the evaluation process in a three-ring binder. Bids should be plainly marked as “Starr Park – Phase I.” Submissions must also include a detailed cost breakdown for each bid in a separate sealed envelope. All bids must be submitted to the city by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21. Questions must be sent via email to procurement@forestparkga.gov.
