City, Regional Partners Hosting 2023 Health & Wellness Festival

FOREST PARK, Ga. — April 21, 2023 — Next week, the City of Forest Park, LifeLink of Georgia and several other partner agencies will host the 2023 Health & Wellness Festival. Supporting partner agencies for the event include Heart 4 The City, JenCare Senior Medical Center, Forest Park Senior Panthers In Action, Forest Park Minister's Association, Clayton County Public Schools and the Wellness Assessment Team.

The free festival is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at Starr Park, located at 5031 Park Ave. There, attendees will have access to community resources that promote the importance of both physical and mental health.

The event will also feature free health screenings provided by Good Shepard Free Healthcare Clinic, as well as Zumba sessions led by Fit For A Purpose Dance & Fitness Studio, a kid's zone, food trucks, live entertainment and more. Individuals who qualify may also be able to receive a free cellphone and tablet at the event.
