City's Finance Department Hosting Vendor Symposium

FOREST PARK, Ga. — March 13, 2025 — In recognition of National Procurement Month, the City of Forest Park's Finance Department is hosting an in-person vendor symposium workshop on Friday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Forest Park Council Chambers, located at 745 Forest Pkwy.

Attendees at the professional event will have the opportunity to learn how to navigate the city's designated procurement web portal, OpenGov, as well as the Finance Department's revamped accounts payable process. City staff will also be onsite to introduce the new approved purchasing policy, register local vendors and answer any questions from business owners and residents.
