Forest Park City Hall Closing At Noon Due To Power Outage

FOREST PARK, Ga. — July 15, 2022 — Forest Park City Hall will be closing at noon today, July 15, due to a power outage in the immediate area caused by an accident off Forest Parkway. The following offices and departments will be closed to the general public:  

  • City Hall (including Finance and executive offices) 
  • Human Resources
  • Planning, Building and Zoning
  • Recreation and Leisure
  • Forest Park Senior Center

Repairs are currently underway to restore power in and around the downtown area. At this time, Georgia Power does not have an estimated time on when service will be fully restored. 

City hall and departmental offices will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 18.
