Forest Park Police Department Hosting In-Person Hiring Event / May 24 From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

FOREST PARK, Ga. — May 16, 2023 — Individuals interested in a career in law enforcement are invited to attend a free hiring event on Wednesday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The in-person recruitment fair is being hosted by the Forest Park Police Department and will held at the Forest Park Recreational Center, located at 803 Forest Pkwy.

Available positions to be advertised at the event include police officer (sworn and non-sworn), field training officer, communications operator, executive staff assistant, narcotics unit, community relations and more. Salary ranges for each position are contingent upon experience, skills, qualifications and education. Current hiring incentives for all eligible employees include a $1,000 sign-up bonus, 2.5% pay increase for bilingual and sign language capable staff, major medical benefits covered at 100%, paid vacation and sick leave, take home vehicles, paid training, tuition reimbursement and incremental pay for education.
