Notice of 2023 Municipal Election Cancellation

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-291 and § 21-2-325, Notice is hereby given that the City of Forest Park, located in Clayton County, Georgia, Special Election scheduled for November 7, 2023, is canceled and is unopposed:

For the following Candidates:

  • Charles Allan Mears, Incumbent: City Council Ward 5
  • Hector Gutierrez, Incumbent: City Council Ward 3
  • Latresa Akins-Wells, Incumbent: City Council Ward 4

The above-unopposed candidates shall be deemed to have voted for himself/herself. This 8th day of September 2023.
