Partial Road Closure For Cynthia Lane To Begin April 20

Cynthia Lane Road Closure

FOREST PARK, Ga. — April 8, 2022 — A portion of Cynthia Lane (between Old Dixie Road and Pineridge Road) is scheduled to close to through traffic beginning Wednesday, April 20. During this time, the roadway will be blocked in order to install new piping in the immediate area.

Traffic on the eastside of the road closure will be detoured along Pineridge Road, and traffic on the westside of the road closure will be detoured along Old Dixie Road. The detours are expected to remain in effect for 60 days; detour signs will also be installed during the duration of the roadway closure.

Following the completion of the project, Cynthia Lane will reopen and be clear for all traffic to pass through. If the roadway closure needs to be extended or additional closures are necessary, another public notice will be issued.
