Notice of Intent to Take Action to Increase the Compensation of the Mayor and Councilmembers of the City of Forest Park, Georgia.  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mayor and Council, at their May 5, 2025 Regular Meeting, intend to consider and to vote upon an ordinance that will provide for an increase in compensation for the Mayor and members of the City Council, which will provide that said compensation for the Mayor be fixed at $ 34,560.24 and that said compensation for Councilmembers be fixed at $21,600.54 and if so approved on May 5, 2025, will become effective January 1, 2026. Copies of the proposed resolution are available for examination and inspection with the City Clerk. All concerned citizens are invited to the public meeting, which will be located at Forest Park City Hall, 745 Main Street, Forest Park, Georgia at 7:00 p.m.
