• Planning and Community Development Department to hold a virtual Permitting 101 workshop on January 30th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
• Planning and Community Development Department to implement new fee schedule for all permits, effective February 3rd.
• Economic Development Department to schedule business retention visits for Ward 5.
• Economic Development Department to update marketing and branding materials for investor and broker outreach.
• Human Resources Department to continue recruitment efforts for open positions in Fire, Police, and Public Works departments.
• Public Works Department to complete removal of Christmas ornaments by the next day.
• Public Works Department to coordinate detours for the MLK parade on Monday.
• Recreation and Leisure Department to continue registration for spring sports (soccer, baseball, t-ball, softball, and volleyball).
• Recreation and Leisure Department to host youth basketball league kickoff on Saturday.
• Recreation and Leisure Department to plan a spring trip for senior residents.
• Police Department to host "Chat and Chew" event at Chick-fil-A on January 27th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
• Executive Office to continue development of performance management and reporting platform with OpenGov.
• Finance Department to implement OpenGov platform for budget transparency in the coming year.
• Mayor's Office to add financial health component to the LEAF (Leading an Essential and Fulfilled Life) initiative for employees.
• City to host Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Monday at 12:00 PM, starting at 1000 Main Street.
• City to schedule and hold public hearings regarding House Bill 508 and property value asses
