FOREST PARK, Ga. May 17, 2022 — The City of Forest Park has announced that it is now offering online electronic services for permit applications. Individuals can apply for, submit payments and print permits without having to visit the city's permitting office.

Applications for permits related to building, electrical, rezoning, demolition, tree removal and more can be accessed by visiting www.egovlink.com/forestpark. New users must register and set up an account in order to use the electronic system.

Once an online application has been received, paid for and processed, a permit will be sent electronically to the email associated with the user's account. Typically, if all required documents are submitted with the application, permits are received by customers within one to three business days.

“Anything you can do in person at our local permitting office you can now do online. This includes submitting a permit application, requesting inspections, submitting files or even checking on the status of a permit,” said Forest Park City Manager Dr. Marc-Antonie Cooper, ICMA-CM.

Individuals who wish to submit an application in person can still do so by visiting the city's Planning and Community Development Department, located at 785 Forest Pkwy., Forest Park, Ga., 30297. All permitting documents can be found online at www.forestparkga.gov/planning/page/permits-and-applications.
