City Seeking Developer For New Fire Station
The City of Forest Park is currently accepting bids and proposals for the construction of a new fire station facility at 330 Forest Pkwy. Renderings for the proposed modern 15,140-square-foot facility include a fire station, four apparatus bays and better accommodations for city personnel.
Through extensive collaboration, city officials worked with local architects and urban designers to develop conceptual plans for the project, with the goal of creating a more vibrant city presence. The work consists of furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and related services required to construct the new fire station facility.
Companies interested in bidding for the project are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on Thursday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at City Hall, located at 745 Forest Pkwy. A site tour is scheduled to take place immediately following the conference.
Bids and proposals are due to the city by 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023. To access the contract documents and specifications, as well as renderings for the proposed project, click here. For more information, contact Girard Geeter at procurement@forestparkga.gov
