Temporary Road Closures Announced For 2023 Forest Park High School Homecoming Parade

2023 Forest Park High School Homecoming Parade Route

FOREST PARK, Ga. — Sept. 20, 2023 — The following temporary road closures will be in effect on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in preparation for the 2023 Forest Park High School Homecoming Parade:

  • Main Street (from 1000 Main Street to Lake Drive)
  • Lake Drive (between Main Street and West Street)
  • West Street (from Granade Drive to Springdale Road)
  • South Avenue (between Springdale Road and Park Avenue)

During this time period, traffic lanes will be temporarily blocked off in order to make way for those participating in the homecoming parade. The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. from 1000 Main Street and conclude at Kiwanis Stadium-Hartupee Field, located off of South Avenue.
