The mission of the street division is to design and install a transportation system that allows for the safe and efficient movement of the traveling public. The street division works diligently to provide a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing environment along our streets and right-of-ways throughout the City.

Stormwater runoff is a major issue with the implementation of recent state and federal regulations to control stormwater runoff and to improve water quality. The City of Forest Park has joined forces with the other municipalities within Clayton County, Clayton County Transportation and Development and with the Clayton County Water Authority to implement a county-wide Stormwater Utility.
