Captain Sam Batten

Sam has served the City of Forest Park for 24 Years. He started with the department October 28, 1996 as a Firefighter/EMT. While with the department Sam has worked his way up through the ranks as a FAO, made Lieutenant in August 2003 and promoted to Captain in the Fire Marshal’s Office in August 2006. Along the way he has obtained many certifications and achievements. In 2002 he was awarded Firefighter of the Year. In his time off Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and enjoys fishing.
