Kimberly James
Kimberly James was elected to the City Council in 2017 and started serving in January 2018.
Kimberly has lived in Forest Park for over 25 years. She has been married to Nate for 23 years. They have four kids who are all graduates of Forest Park High School. Kimberly has always been active in her community. She has served in various leadership roles as a volunteer, including the PTA, PTSO, PTSA, School Council, Chaperone while her kids attended Huie Elementary, Forest Park Middle and Forest Park High School, and much more. She has also served her community as an active member of the Forest Park Ministers’ Association, the Clayton County Minister’s Conference, Volunteer Coach for the Forest Park Recreation Department, and delivers food to the senior and unprivileged in our community.
Kimberly is a graduate from DeVry Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information System, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her corporate experience includes working for Ceridian, NDC, and Ernst & Young, before deciding to be a stay at home mom. Kimberly homeschooled her four kids for nearly four years.
Kimberly now serves as a parent/community liaison. Kimberly is committed to engaging with and to the community. She considers it an honor to serve her community.
