Deputy Fire Chief David Halcome

Deputy Fire Chief David Halcome has been a part of the Forest Park Fire Department for 25 years.  He grew up on North Parkwood, and as a child, he knew he wanted to be a firefighter in this city.  He started in 1995 as a firefighter/EMT.  Over the years, he has obtained many certifications including HAZMAT tech, arson investigator, inspector and public educator and is a mandated police officer.  He has served our department as a fire apparatus operator (FAO), a lieutenant, a captain and he has been serving our city as the fire marshal for 15 years.  He works alongside businesses, citizens and city personnel making the safety and education of our citizens paramount.  Chief Halcome earned the position of Deputy Fire Chief with the City in October of 2021.
